Intro to One Arm Handstands 4 week series – starting Sat July 4 at 10am EDT

Join me for some quarantined Handstand training

While we are all practicing social distancing to help prevent the spread of COVID 19, we will be offering online classes to keep you on track for your flexibility goals. We understand that this situation has made it so that some people are financially struggling, while others are still able to continue working from home. Therefore we are offering these classes on a sliding scale to accommodate as many situations as possible.

Class dates:

  • July 4
  • July 11
  • July 18
  • July 25

Pre-requisites for this class:

For this class you must be able to comfortably hold a 10 sec handstand away from the wall and be experienced at falling out of your handstand. If you’re not sure if you meet these pre-requisites please sign up for the foundations class and ask the instructor at the end of the series if it would be appropriate for you to join next time.

What is covered:

This class is for anyone who wants to learn how to do a one arm handstand. 4 weeks isn’t a lot of time, but by the end of it you will have a better understanding of what you’re trying to achieve. You will learn common mistakes and how to fix them.

This course covers

  • alignment
  • patterning
  • how to use the wall to spot yourself properly
  • proper weight transfer
  • the four basic shapes on one arm

How it works

Please download zoom and ensure you have a good internet connection before the start time of your scheduled class. Once you’ve registered, you will be added to the list and the instructor will send out an invitation to everyone on the list 1-2 hours before the class. Make sure you have enough space available in the room you will be using so that you won’t be hitting anything.

Class sizes are limited so be sure to register ahead of time to guarantee your spot

You must register by 7am Saturday July 4
