Our Certifications Have Been UPGRADED!

Our certifications will now be offered in a 3 module system. This means that you will get more out of it by the end of the course. It also means that you can go as far as you would like. You do have to complete the lower level modules in order to be able to attend the higher level modules because it will be assumed that you have the prior knowledge from those courses at the start of the next level module.

Module 1 will cover all of the theory parts of the course. This is an online course with an automated test at the end where you need a score of 80% or higher to receive your certification. You can take the test as many times as you need. There is also a preliminary Quiz at the end of each chapter to prepare you for the final assessment.

Module 2 will teach you everything you need to know to teach one on ones and classes online in each given topic. Since you don’t have physical contact with your students it can sometimes be difficult to get your message across to the same affect. You will learn teaching techniques as well as how to improvise when necessary to work within the confines of what your students have to work with.

Module 3 will be covering all the in person stuff. This will certify you to work with people one on one and in class settings face to face. Everything where you need specific equipment, or where you need to be in physical contact with your client or students you will learn here.

Flexibility Level 1

Module 1 you will learn how to create a group flexibility class that will accommodate all levels of students. We will cover the theory of flexibility training and you will learn how to differentiate types of stretches and know when it is appropriate to use each one. You will also learn how to use flexibility with personal training clients, and learn how to measure progress to keep your clients motivated, for both online and in person students.

Module 2 you will learn how to teach and get results for your online students. You will learn how to regress a stretch or make it more challenging so each client can get the most out of each position. This module will be done in an online group video class and you will learn the practical elements needed for online teaching.

Module 3 we will be covering partner stretches. Both on how to apply the stretches to your clients, and how to teach students how to apply the stretch to each other in a group setting. You will also learn how to make adjustments for clients who are more flexible and less flexible than the average person. You will learn proper technique and learn how to use partner stretching to achieve faster results. This course is done in person and is very hands on so it won’t be offered until it is safe to do so.

Handstands Level 1

Module 1 you will learn how to bring someone who has never done a handstand before in their life to being able to hold a handstand away from the wall. Everyone who starts their journey to learn a handstand will get there at a different pace depending on their background, frequency of practice, and where this skill lies on their priority list. Regardless of the length of their journey, they will all pass through the same milestones. This course will give you a better understanding of how to assess where they are in their journey and how to get them to the next milestone.

Module 2 you will learn how to work with people online in both a one on one setting and teaching foundational classes. You will learn how to create a safe training environment for your students to learn in without getting hurt. You will learn how to use different items that students may have access to at their homes and how to get creative if they don’t have the exact right object but you can find something comparable.

Module 3 we will be covering SPOTTING! Spotting is a skill all of its own. By learning how to spot you will yourself become better at handstands because you will understand where the best pathway is and where and how to find the balance point. Being good at handstands DOES NOT make you good at spotting, but spotting DOES make you better at handstands.
